Let's get this straight. Just so you know EXACTLY what I mean. Abuse as a
discussion topic, something we can discuss, debate, and advise members of
the list about is on topic in my opinion. I did NOT say that I felt the
abuse HAD happened. It is alleged to have happnened. A member asked for help
in how to complain about alleged abuse. That member feels abused. We have no
business not believing him or her, or passing judgement on the alleged
abuser. We were asked for help. That's what I think is on topic. That's what
is think is ok to be "played out on this list". I most certainly did not
assume that the abuse had taken place. READ IT! "Abuse by list members is
on-topic." Think for a moment what that sentence means. It did not say "The
abuse by the accused list member is on topic".
