Hi Jim,
 I am  also using JRun and 2.3. And when i am trying to read the object on
servlet side
its throwing EOFException.

When i tried to see what is the content type of ServletRequest object  it
returns
text/html.

It looks to me that thats the reason . Servlet engine not taking
application/octet-stream which is set from Applet side.
