Hi,
The servlet won't 'die' as such, just the request thread that is being
served by it.
There are exceptions to this rule, as always, mainly to do with shared
resources,
threading issues and in particular deadlocks.
The request may timeout of course, what this will do to the actual thread
that
has 'hung' is probably dependent on the implementation of your servlet
engine/
web server.
