Hi, I have a website with heavy database transactions and hits. When more than 15 people try to access the same servlet simultaneously only 3-4 are able to go to the next page. The other are kicked back to the logging page. When I go through the code I find that the sessions are not maintained properly by Jrun. 1>What are the optimum settings in the Jrun for session tracking? 2>How do I keep track of number of the sessions created by Jrun across all users? Servlet Engine : Jrun2.2.1 OS : Solaris Web Server : NES2.01 JDK1.2 JSDK2.0 Database :MS SQL6.5 My Current settings for Session tracking are : Max number of sessions : 4000 Session invalidation time : 18000000000 Session invalidation interval : 100000000 Session Persistence Engine is checked.
If any one has worked with sessions heavily in any other environment , please give details and a website and a pointer to go to. Thanks in advance. Niraj |
