1. Use gnujsp10, I guess you are trying using 0.9
2. If you use it on a jsdk 2.1 compliant engine, setAttribute() is
fully support.
3. If you use it on a jsdk 2.0 compliant engine, setAttribute() is
supported between jsp pages.
4. callPage: depends on what you want
maybe jsp:include
