hai,
A breifing about the problem:
I am developing a servlet based web application which involves in taking
request from users and passing the data/required data to a legacy system using
java commapi.
It requires Baudot communication (i.e baudrate 50-300, stopbits 1.5, databits
5 ..) I was testing the commport using the sample code provided by SUN (i.e
bundled with commapi). I had set the above configuration in the SerialDemo
program. It was throwing "UnsupportedCommOperationException" with any
combination of baudrate and databits when i set the stopbits to 1.5. I am not
able to descide whether it is a bug or unimplemented feature in commapi. I am
using windows 95.
Has anybody came accross such problem. I will be thankful for any help or
suggestions.
This nearly stopped my work.
Sorry for the off topic....
with Thanks
mln
