Hi,
This problem has probably been discussed before, but I don't really
know under what to search for in the archives, so please can
someone help me with:
I am trying to download webpages from within my servlet but are getting a
Security Exception when I am trying to set my defalut Authenticator (for
accessing the web through a proxy).
Now, setDefaultAuthenticator checks for a NetPermission with the current
security policy. I am running JavaWebServer 2.0 and in the jserv.policy file
(in the security dir) I have added the Netpermissions etc but still to no
avail.
Can someone please help me. Can I set the permissions from within my CODE
before I run setDefaultAuthenticator and how or must it be added in the
policy file
and if that is so, how does JavaWebServer control this ??
Thanx alot in advance,
Sean.
