This question is so broad, that even if this were the correct forum, you could
never get an answer that would comprehensive enough. Your best bet is to go to
Sun's web site and read everything there about RMI. You could also locate some
books on RMI. When you start trying to use RMI and run into problems, check the
RMI-USERS mailing list.
