Ok, now am truly sorry ....... my first message applies only if:

1]you haven't deployed anything(EJB, startup classes or servlets)

2]you have deployed EJB's and startup classes only.

my second message applies only if you have deployed a servlet and after that
you can't get your server to run properly.

Now if your problem is that you can't get a new installation to run
properly.... then my advise to you is: uninstall and re-install weblogic
else call me (just once ok!!)

Hi,
my earlier response was for EJB errors not Servlets. For servlets make sure
your classes are in the c:\weblogic\myserver\servletclasses directory. If
you have already done this then check to make sure that you have correctly
deployed the servlet with its fully qualified package name.
Also check to see if your Java classes are present in the c:\weblogic\jre1_1
or jre1_2 directory as well as c:\weblogic\lib\unpacked_jars directory.

cheers

This is not a license problem, it seems more like a classpath problem.

1]What server version are you running?

2]Are you trying to start the server from the command prompt?

3]If so are you issuing the startup command from weblogic's home directory
i.e. c:\weblogic?

4]Do you have your JAVA_CLASSPATH and WL_CLASSPATH variables if you are
running version 4.5.x?

5]Did you create a startup class?

6]Do you have a classes directory i.e. c:\weblogic\classes ? If yes do you
have your startup classes in that directory?

Answer this questions and we will go from there ok!

Just a guess here, but could it be the license ?
