Assuming installation is really OK, then if you are using a proxy
either

1) you are connected to the Internet all the time, in which case do not
give 127.0.0.1 but your true IP (look it up at your TCP/IP settings) or

2) you use it for your dial-up connections to speed-up delivery in which
case instruct your Web-browser (different menus for NS and IE) to NOT
use proxy for 127.0.0.*

Solution for case (2) is also valid for case (1) if you prefer 127.0.0.1
instead of your normal IP.
