You could ... Java Mail API provides you with  the functionality of connecting
to your mail servers and sending mails.
'It would definitely help solve the issue you have to send mails.

Before Java Mail i had implemented a  class which would connect to the port 25
(sendmail) and write data to that port in the form accepted by sendmail
program. Although a simple implementation ... it works. You could try doing the
same,
