Hello,
I am developing Servlet based application.I want Client and Server
communicate with securely. For example, transfering data from Client to
Server could be credit card details and order amt etc.
I've undergone SSL 3.0 Protocol and it's handshaking messages. but finding
out how to call and use these protocols from servlet?. also, getScheme()
method returns String for protocol used namely "HTTP", "HTTPS","FTP". how do
one specifies protocol for communication or it is handled by third party?.
What is roll of Verisign except providing digital certificate?
