i fear you have completely restart your server. i've often experienced
that class reloading not works correctly even if it should be supported
(JavaServe 1 had this prob). Sometimes it is even neccessary to
completly deleted the old class file from your servlet dir and start
over again with the fresh ones.

annoying but...

if you hear of a better way let me know.
