Browsers are good at reading/rendering html, but they are not
necessarily good as MUA's.

And that is what he suggested would likely happen to those messages
(i.e. be deleted). As to who would care, just a guess, but I bet the
people posting those messages in search of answers would care,
especially if they're marked "URGENT!!!".
