while trying to just get apache/win98 running with ApacheJServ/1.1,
I get the following error in the mod_jserv.log:
[18/03/2000 23:38:37:630] (INFO) wrapper: Shutdown done (PID=-1687381)
[18/03/2000 23:38:37:630] (INFO) Apache Module was cleaned-up
[18/03/2000 23:38:37:740] (INFO) wrapper: Java Virtual Machine started
(PID=-1611213)
[18/03/2000 23:38:37:740] (INFO) wrapper: controller started
(PID=-1687381)
[18/03/2000 23:38:41:030] (INFO) wrapper: Java Virtual Machine crashed
..... + lots more identical crashing .....
[18/03/2000 23:38:47:520] (INFO) wrapper: VM died too many times w/in 5
second intervals (6); no more tries
[18/03/2000 23:38:47:520] (INFO) wrapper: too many restart attempts w/in
a short timeframe; no more retries.
There may be an error in your Apache JServ configuration.
apache runs fine otherwise.
servlets run fine in visualcafe.
all of the classpaths seem correct (at least, they point correctly)
I've tried every help given in the FAQ.
what else is left?
