Hi Mtree/Rahul
Download the Java communications API if you want to create something of your
own from http://jsp.java.sun.com/products/javacomm/
Using this API u can write to the serial port of the computer where a fax m/c
can be connected .Refer to any documentation on fax m/c operation and you
would come to know of the format in which the data should be sent .
Another way , which uses a third party tool is illustrated in
http://byte.com/art/9801/sec10/art2.htm

Cheers
Shailesh

Can anyone tell me how to establish connection to a fax m/c thru a servlet?
Also I wanted to know if java supports capturing of a html page as an
image.
 If so, how?

 thanks,
Moitreyee.
