Of course.. it is actually very simple: on the page that sends the request
add a text input field, with the description:
'I am going to a rude servlet that doesn't know how the Internet works and
wants to steal your username, if you are dumb enough please provide it on
your own:'
If you find this technique works, you can augment it with similar boxes
for:
a) password on remote machine
b) PINs and matching numbers of VISA cards the client might have
c) Possible safe combination
d) Hours that wife/husband is home alone, etc..
If you find this technique fails (unlikely, according to IQ statistics)
you can look up the construction of a Login scheme whereby your users
ACCEPT to have an account with you and pass you ONLY the usernames and
passwords for an account they have WITH YOU, not with the rest of the
world.
