I think that you are looking for SSI (Server Side Include)..
with this you can include in your html pages a Servlet Procedure like an
Object..
with a <SERVLET> tag included the required parameters..
and you can call more the 1 time..
Look for SSI, in Apache there it's a JSSI that allow you to run this pages
with a different
extension JHTML and you just intall and make some modification to the conf
and in
JWS you just have to modify the conf to be able to run SSI with extension
SHTML...
Also maybe you want to look for Java Server Page JSP
