Hi Every One,
Please help me with this. It is really driving
me crazy.
The question is
I have installed Java Web Server 1.1.3 from
java.sun.com to run Servlets. To the best of my
knowledge, to run servlets, I should

1.execute C:\JavaWebServer1.1.3\bin\httpd.exe file.
2.Open Java webserver Administration tool from a web
browser.

By default the JWS Administration tool is in
port 9090 and I am trying to open the Java Web Server
1.1.3 Administration Tool through a Internet Explorer.
I am giving the URl

    http://localhost:9090.

And The response I am getting is

The Internet explorer cannot find this site
offline. Do you want to connect online.

Altough I am able to login into the java
WebServer Administration Tool once I am connected to
internet I am not able to do the same offline. It's
really hard to be online evrytime I want to run
Servlets. I tried changing some properties of Internet
explorer, but it didn't work. Why is this happening ?
Why can't I access a localhost offline. Can you please
through some light on this,

Thanking all in advance,

Ram.
