Hi, I just began a E-comm project in a multi-tier environment with jsp, ejb, data layer. We have some data that are to be stored in session. They present design is to save this data in some javabean container and keep it in the servlet Http Session object. I see a lot of scalability problems with this. They are concerned about using a EJB and the Business layer with the network traffic this would create. What other solution are available? What about installing another EJB in the same machine as the jsp engine and put there just the session objects (the business obj would be on a separate ejb container on another machine)? Any paper, accepted framwork or perfomance test that talks about all this? Marco __________________________________________________ FREE voicemail, email, and fax...all in one place.
