Hallo, I am new to this group, but found no older threads (by searching
archives) dealing with my concern:
I am trying to deploy an application into the J2EE-server but the web
component wizard did not accept my servlet-class as an servlet (it
extends from javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet).
On the other side - if I deploy it as "no web component", Tomcat did
recognize it as servlet and does not execute it if requested via the
directory listing (shortcuts like /servlet/MyServlet were not found).

Anybody there that could tell me where to found some documentation about
this processes - the documentation delivered around the J2EE is not very
detailed and does only handle EJB topics.

Thanx in advance,
Matthias.
