Depending on the server you are using can't you set up an environment
variable that sets a maximum on the number of sessions that you can have.

Subject: Session counting
Hi
I am using Sun's JSDK2.1 development kit.
I want to write a login-servlet that only allows, say 10 people, to logon at
a time.
Is there a method that returns the number of active sessions?
Thanks
Cobus
