Hi,

I have an outstanding problem in out project and I am
dying to solve this problem. Please help me if you
can.

I need to set REMOTE_USER env variable from my
servlet.
I've written a servlet which is calling another
servlet. This second servlet is a third party product
and it checks REMOTE_USER using
request.getRemoteUser() when you try to access it. So,
I need to set this environment variable before I try
to access second servlet. Is there any way that I can
set this value from my servlet? Someone has suggested
me to write a plug-in for the webserver, which will
set this value for me. Does anybody know if any such
plug-in is available in the market?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Anurag Srivastava
