Apache1.3.12 and Tomcat3.2.1B (together or in standalone mode ) work just great
for me on Windows 2000, I also use the same on Linux which is a tad faster. On
Linux I built Apache from source because I am using it with SSL. My problem is
that Linux does not have the latest JDK from Sun and while the IBM Java port for
Linux supposed to be OK it has compatibility problems for me and has no CORBA or
RMI registry support yet!
The latest Tomcat should also work with IIS, please look into the documentation
folder after you un-zipped it! I have not tried it yet (no time!) but you might
and post your experience here, please. I would like to install it (later) also on
Win2K and use IIS with Java SSL for testing IIS/Java encryption compatibility.
Regards - George
