Hi All,
I have scenario like this: I have a login servlet which will check the
login parameters and direct the user to the right page after everything is
OK. Now, I would like to relaunch a new browser window with some of our
customized look after the user logged in. But because the login servlet
will take parameters from the HTML login page, I can not open a new window
for the servlet. Only chance to open a new window is to open new window for
the first page after login. My problem is because the first page after
login is a redirected JSP page from servlet, I can not really modify the
windows until the page loads. Unless I can modify the javascript function
inside my servlet before launch the JSP file.
I can change the windows by put a javascript function in ONLOAD event in the
JSP page but the page will load twice and looks bad.
Anybody have experience directly call javascript function to open a new
browser window inside servlet?
Any idea will be greatly appreciated!
James
