hi
I agree that sometimes people do ask elementary questions about servlets.
That can be forgiven to some extent. However it is surely a waste of time
and energy to get
mails like
1)How to install JDK1.2
2)How do i find the length of a string

etc. which has nothing to do with Java Servlets. There are thousands of
free resources to learn basics like that. So let us keep this list for
servlets and related areas.

I was also a student till a few months back, but has learned Java the hard way
i.e; Slogging it out, surfing the net for hours, reading books etc.
So when you have valuable resources like this mailng list, show some prudence
in asking questions
regards
