Hi Marc,
This package and the javax.servlet.jsp.tagext package contain classes that
authors of JSP (Java Server Pages) and JSP Tag libraries use. If you are using
Servlets only, you don't need to worry about them. Many servlet containers
also have support for JSP. If you want to know more about JSP take a look at:-
www.java.sun.com/products/jsp
