Servlet Containers implement the Servlet Specification from Sun, it is a
standard. There are many servlet2.2 compliant servlet engines out there. When
someone does not implement the specification then that is a bug......... Please
complain to your vendor. I am sure they WILL fix it in a later release. IMHO
anyone who is not standard compliant will not survive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tomcat
source code is also free. They could also borrow its solution. The WebSphare
Application Server's Web Server code is based on that of Apache, why not the
Lotus Servlet engine's?
