What good would that do.  I guess that you want the fields hidden so that
you can secure some info.  All someone would have to do is look at the temp
file the browser is using, so whether or not the browser displays the hidden
fields they have to be somewhere...  If you want to secure info use some
sort of server side language, like server side java, asp, cold fusion....

But anyway, how is this a servlet related question?

Well got no answers for this one last time

Just wondering as to WHY Hidden fields should be seen in View Source.
There should be some way...so that the hidden fields on the html form are
not seen when one clicks on View Source on the Browser.
I mean someway the HTML tags can be customized..so that they are not seen in
View Source

Maybe one more attribute called as "Show" can be designed for hidden fields
which can be set to Y at the time of developement  and then can be set to N
This will greatly solve some of the Session related problems
