Sanjay,
While a product such as Web Trends will give you a broader picture, fine
tuning can be provided via a web content management system.
For example, a web content management system such as eContent which is
servlet based and includes source code (www.javacorporate.com) can provide
you with:
1. the # of times a user visits a particular page (or resource);
2 how many times a page (or resource) has been visited;
3. it can send a notification to a user when a resource is accessed, i.e.
when a user accesses a demo on javacorporate.com, one of our sales team gets
an email.
4. it can also send an auto-response to the user that accessed a page i.e.
when they accessed it for the first time.
Cheers
Sandra
