I can understand first part of your question, i.e. open a URL connection to a
servlet, which is easy in JavaScript. I could not understand the second patr of
your question though. What exactly do you mean by "write objects as an Applet
can do"?

In general, you can do object oriented programmingin JavaScript with certain
limit. You can even do inheritance in the later releases. Depends on what you
want really.

Hi,
Sorry if its too basic/idiotic but I was just thinking if its possible
to open an URL Connection to a servlet from a JAVASCRIPT function and write
objects in the same way as an Applet can do. Anybody ?????
Regards,
Raj
