Hi!!! > I have a R-Servlet sitting on host1. Another S-Servlet on > host2. I hope these url helps, I found that when I had a similar problem: http://www.javaworld.com/javatips/jw-javatip47.html http://www.javaworld.com/javaworld/javatips/jw-javatip42.html I didnt't like the tip 42 for one reason, I've read that the class sun.misc.BASE64Encoder should no be used because it may change in the next versions of Java. When I went to: http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.3/docs/api/index.html and I really did not find the class. In the tip 47, there is a code for implementing what the class sun.misc.BASE64Encoder does, so if I were you, I would use it. I have not used the tips myself but I do think they work. I really hope that it helps you.
