I am using cookies and I already successfully dumped the session ID in the cookie.

I am using the servlet engine JRUN v2.3.3 together with the server Apache/1.3.9.

Concerning the JSDK I am not sure what JRUN uses. Anyway the API documentation is from
JSDK2.0:
        public void setMaxInactiveInterval(int interval)
        >
        > Specifies the time, in seconds, between client requests before the
        > servlet container will invalidate this session. A
        > negative time indicates the session should never timeout.
        >      Parameters:
        > interval - An integer specifying the number of seconds

        I don't have problems with the session creation: it's running for
        a few seconds (when using interval=3600). The problem is the
MaxInactiveInterval.

        I set it now to 3600000: perhaps it must be in milliseconds?
        Then it keeps running.

        Axel
