hey sultan, YOU MUST upgrade the iPlanet web server, get the latest
version/patch level; it is 4.1.4 (e.g. version 4.1 SP4) as of last week, each
service pack seems to remove many more bugs, but just forget about version 4.0,
it barely operated. Also is pretty tricky to set up, mostly getting the
classpath's just right. As far as your specific problem I can't help, I never
had to get the config file/info like what you mention, but maybe upgrade the
server and try again. (we use NES 3.6.1 & iPlanet/NES 4.1.4, iPlanet to
support servlet, jsp, and livewire, NES 3.6.1 legacy livewire & cgi/perl, both
on solaris/sun and hitting informix database across tcp/ip network.)
