Hi,
I tried out the logout hack referred to below a while
back and thought I should report the results, at least
on my side.
It works perfectly fine in IE 5.0. However, I ran
into a couple of problems on Netscape. First of all,
the authorization header didn't change to the logout
user, and then when I tried it from within a firewall
the firewall complained about the URL format, saying
it was unsupported: http://logout:logout@host:port
Note that this only happened with Netscape and was
fine with IE. I'm not sure why. It seems that the
firewall problem should happen with both browsers.
Anyone have a clue?
