Especially relevant is the "mailing list" link on the
above page, where you should check out the "tomcat
user" mailing list. On that list a cadre of expert
tomcat developers waits anxiously for your tomcat
specific questions.
It's not that your question is off-topic, because
after all, it is very servlet related, but it's to
your benefit to ask product specific question in a
product specific forum, because you are much more
likely to get an authoritative answer.
Especially with tomcat-4.0 (if that's what you are
planning to use) the documentation is "in progress",
so you really need to get used to asking questions
over on the tomcat-users list. But check out the
documentation over at the jakarta site first, some
of it is pretty good.
