Hi all,
we have a web app that has a login Servlet and a group of Servlets that
perform requested tasks from the web. Now in order to use the task Servlets
the user must have logged in successfully with the login servlet. We
believe that the login process should be executed under HTTPS. If the login
is successful then the task Servlets will be available for use under HTTP.
As you are aware this is a standard scenario within a web application. The
question is that we have been unsuccessful in creating a web app within WAS
that accepts HTTPS and HTTP. Note we have created a new virtual host for
this web app and implemented the alias with port (SSL) :443.
WAS 3.5 fix pack 2, IBM HTTP Server, db2
Please Help!
Best Regards
Marc
