Hi All,
I all I am karthik and I work for Cognizant Tech Solutions, Chennai as a
programmer. I am encountering a problem which is of the description given
below. It would be kind of you to help me out.
I have a servlet which displays a chart of certain statistics. The chart is
first built as a swing component using JCChart third party API's. Then it is
encoded to GIF and written to the servlet's output stream with content type
as IMAGE/GIF. When I use java web server on NT for hosting the servlets, the
GIF chart is displayed fine. When I port it to Solaris and run it on tomcat
and apache, the image gets distorted and when I refresh the image on the
browser, it keeps on overlapping and shrinking. Suddenly it appears fine.
Suddenly it goes off on refresh. Is it related to some configuration of
Apache/Tomcat or am I missing out something fundamental. Can somebody help
me out
Karthik
