Most credit card processing is actually VERY light on the code end. You sign on with a
group like cybercash or Authorize.net and you pass them a parsed string with the
credit card info over a secure line and they tell you if it's a good csard or not
and why. Most of the code is HTTP Posts and deciding what to do with what response
they send back to you. Hope that was helpful.
