of course, i understood that. but as far as i know the material there is no
such event-handler for "browser back"-actions in js.

but that's actually kind of off-topic, even though you want to call a
servlet with your function...
i think you could get better answers and further information (work-arounds)
from a javascript forum, js mailling list or internet-page.
