I agree with this considering the monumental decisions that will effect the
technology community, this fall.  Just put/include [off-topic] in the
subject.  Also, threads like this would fade out anyway.

Don't agree with you on this Nic. I think its good to air this out. The
servlet interest community certainly has its own perspective, and perhaps
some good might come of this. Perhaps time for Open-Source community to
build a JVM for MS OSes?

Moderating the list is fine. Keeping reign on off-topic stuff is fine. But
sometimes discussion on a big issue such as this is appropriate. I say let
it go for now. I would agree that folks should restrain the inflamatory
statements such as "MS is a horrible company". I want to hear from both
sides.
