SERVLET-INTEREST is meant to be a place to discuss
servlets. Database questions don't really belong here.
There is a group for database questions:

There are plenty of places to discuss general Java
issues, but only one central place to discuss servlets.
If servlet-interest fills up with off-topic threads,
it loses what makes it special.
