Got log.file set to standard jserv.log. Also set log.channel.debug=true. Doesn't help. In fact, I can't write to System.err either. Whuzzup with this server?

The best info I've got If you set the 'log.file' parameter in 'jserv.properties' config file, that file is supposed to be the recipient of your System.out messages.
