OFFTOPIC : Netscape plugins

Hi All !!  Sorry this a bit offtopic. I have some .doc and .ppt files stored in my JSP based application. These files are being directly accessed from the browser with a URL like below : http://localhost:8080/myapp/MyFile.doc While the files show up perfectly in IE, I am having problems with Netscape. The problem obviously seems to be necessary plugins for opening these files. Where can i get the Netscape plugins for these files and other files like Excel etc. A notable exception is .pdf files.
