Hi,
Have you included the value for the hidden parameter in the HTML page within
quotes.
Some time that gives a problem like this.If you have please sent the
generated HTML
so that I can have a better view of the problem.

Subject: getParameter function

Hi,

I am passing a jsp page which creates the html with hidden fields to a
servlet for processing. In the servlet, I use getParameter("hiddenfield1")
to get the value but I get a null instead. I could see the source code of
the file in the browser and I see values there. Am I missing something??
Should I use setAttribute instead??

String hidfield1 = request.getParameter("hiddenfield1");

talk to you later,
Will
