Hey Nic,

Thanks for the informative reply. I've seen the links at the bottom but
never paid attention to them. Like listening to music but ignoring the
words. I've been saving all the q's and a's in my local folder. (It is now
67meg). I was doing so since I am getting ready to develop my first web
interface and chose to use a tomcat jsp solution.

I've been catching grief for doing something so cumbersome ha! I should of
known...

Thanks,

Hardy

You don't pay for the servlet API and therefore you don't get paid
support.

If you purchase one of the many servlet engines available then you
are entitled to support from your vendor.

This list does answer questions from newbies but it is considered bad
form (as it is on all mailing lists) to ask a question that has been
asked before.

It is considered *very* bad form to ask a question that has been
asked 15 times before and it is considered an act of war if you ask a
question that has been asked 50 times before.

The archives exist (link at the bottom of this mail) to help you find
answers to your problem without having to ask again, this is good for
you (because you get a considered and correct answer to your question
without having to wait for one) and good for the list (because we
don't have to see questions that we've already answered).

Hope that answers your question!
