I don't know whether it is the best way,   but you could use 3 separate option or textboxes for days month and years or allow users to input it into one big one in a specified format ... but that opens a whole can of worms if they don't get the format right.   If you use 3 boxes than parsing it is a lot easier and safer   Hope that helps,      Lambert >>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 02/22/02 01:01pm >>> from a formular?
