i dont' think you will have a problem in throwing a RequestDispatcher using HTML file
to Unix environment.....
you should start in webapps root for the path of your file.....
let say you have a HTML file in your subdirectory (html) from
here's the sample....
RequestDispatcher dispatcher =
getServletContext().getRequestDispatcher("/html/AdminADDEmp.htm");
