what does TomCat consider to be the current folder. On windows, would it be the bin folder in which tomcat.exe resides ? I tried putting my file into that directory but to no avail.
The problem is that since this is a "resource" file, I would expect the location to be specified in RELATIVE terms. That is, when I deploy on my Prodution server, I am not sure where it is going to land (OS/Container) , so I have no clue about the ABSOLUTE path. I searched a lot on the net, it is strange that not many people have faced this problem (and documented it) -- shourya > -----Original Message----- > From: P Saravanan [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Friday, April 12, 2002 1:24 AM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Re: FileNotFoundException [Tomcat] > > > > If you give filename alone, Tomcat searches for the file in > the current > folder. > ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and include in the body of the message "signoff SERVLET-INTEREST".
