I'm new to java servlets but someone in here was kind enough to
reply to me when I had a question so i'll try to give back some
of the java love...
I know you can use java script to disable the right click of a
mouse button. Which will then display an error of your choice
when a user RCKs the mouse...
That JS can be found:
http://www.codebrain.com/javascript/noRightClick/

I'm sure a lot of ppl here could have told you that....

As for the diableing of the browser buttons, I'm not so sure
that's possible. How would the user then close the window? Move
back in historty, print, and all the other stuff like that...

Is your issue for the text or the graphics? For the text all
the user has to do is hightlight and paste to notepad, If it's
your html your guarding it's impossible. Web servers and made to
send the html file to any computer who requests it. So anyone
can just fire up an ftp and get your code that way...
If it's the graphics on the page your trying to protact it's
almost as impossible as trying to safeguard your html.
Right click blockers will only deter new web users from copying
your code and images. Anyone who has casual programming
knowldege/common sence and really wants an image off your site
will just look at your source code, and then put the direct
image url in to an ftp...

gehan..

If anyone has any ideas on how to protect images on a website I
would love to hear them (barring password protecting)
